Export-Style Helles Lager
A medium-bodied, yet highly drinkable golden lager with gentle acidity traditionally brewed with an intentionally higher gravity and hop content for shipment out of country. Malt and hops are finely balanced resulting in an exceptionally quenching and clean profile.

The pour is golden yellow with a moderate amount of carbonation. The body is light to medium & the taste is bready malt, white crackers, lemon, grains, & some earthy herbal notes. Cheers! B

Crystal clear pale yellow--basically straw?--color with a small white head (I didn't pour it that hard, though) with compact bubbles, and lots of rising streaming bubbles.
Not getting a whole lot from the aroma immediately. Sweetness. Honey, crackers, biscuits, floral. There it is.
Okay, wow! Flavor hits hard with the excellent. Crisp and crackery, honey sweetness, floral, hint of lemon zest and bell pepper. Snappy, honeyed sweetness, flies across the palate, zesty but very crisp. Just a perfect balance of honey, oyster crackers, and lemon/pepper zest. Super clean finish.
Bubbly carbonation, pop of sweetness but finishes drier. Ultimate crushability. Drinks lower than its abv suggests.
Man oh man. This is why I love lagers. Beautiful and delicious perfectionism.

Really surprised this doesn't rate higher. Perhaps this is just right up my tastebud alley, Helles being my fave lager style, and this being a slightly more robust version of such. This could be a top-10 lager for me, absolutely deliciously balanced, bready, light, crushable, and just enough dryness on the finish to perpetuate endless sips. Yummmm!!!

Boniface pours a slightly hazy, golden color with a medium-sized, long-lasting, lacing head. The aroma is filled with bright cereal. The flavor has an almost candy sweetness, bright cereal, and sweet corn notes. Good body and feel. Overall, sweeter, more flavorful, and very refreshing.

Clear gold pour with a bright white 2-3 finger cap. This beer was made for mug-quaffing. It's dense with German hop and malt flavor which measures up to its "Export-Style" billing. Tastes include lemon, pretzel and sourdough bread. Really enjoyed the deep flavor. A Euro-style lager that's best described as "sturdy". Enjoy!
