Pours a light, straw golden with a little haze and a fair head that doesn't stand tall for long but also doesn't shy away before I get to the beer. By mid-tast, however, the beer has aflat look from the side, although bubbles can still be seen rising from the depths.
Nose is big on passion fruit, with a fairly unexpected floral and vine-like greenness. I'm calling it an aroma similar to a broken tomato or cucumber stalk while working in the garden. Lime and saliinty are noted if searched for, but once again, the passion fruit is the star here.
Sip isn't nearly as tart or fruity as expected from the fairly strong aromas. And it is a pleasant "dulling" in my opinion. It is light and refreshing. Passion fruit and cucumber (the fruit itself this time) accent a clean, crackery malt flavor. This beer is one where getting a nice sip with a slight inhale really adds to the experience. As the head fades, the carbonation does as well, leading to a somewhat watery feel before the beer is finished. The lime is blending with the passion fruit up front but may be showing itself more in back. The salt is likely adding some softness to the beer, but it's acting (properly?) as a seasoning to enhance flavors and not be a distinct flavor.
