An unfiltered (keller-style) lager conditioned in our American Oak foeder for two months, Threshold pours pale golden with a white head. The aromas of this Kellerbier reflect biscuit, flowers, almond skins and light oak. Fresh baked bread, oak tannins, light marshmallow and subtle vanilla define its flavor profile, along with balanced Noble hop bitterness. The finish is dry with lingering oak character on the palate.

Pours an opaque pale straw color with a nice bubbly white head, settles to some rocky white terrain that lingers for a while then slowly dissipates to a thin film of white. Some decent lacing from the initial head.

Nose is a cracker like, snappy citrus zest, an almost tangy like smell to it, I definitely pick up a little, but just a very faint oak note hiding in the background.

The taste gets most of the same notes as the nose...the one noticeable difference to me is this comes off more bread like than I had assumed on the nose, it brings a nice depth to this beer. The hops come off a little more in the grassy spicy sort of way for me, and they actually have a nice little bite to them. It still retains some hint of lemony citrus to me. Oak same as nose just the slightest hint on the finish.

Body is light but full, verging medium, almost chewy but still very drinkable. A nice bitter kick to it as well. The finish is clean but the oak shows again adding just the slightest woody feel to it.

Can from the Packie.
Mostly clear bright yellow in color with a bubbly white head that slowly recedes. Rich bready crackery maltiness with a hint of brown bread. Light spicy floral hops to counter. Nice Lager.

Draft at the brewery
Big frothy 2 finger head with great retention, foamy lacing, crystal clear light pale color

Nose light grainy malt, cereal, doughy note with hint of oak, hint of herbal hop

Taste mild cereal grain and pilsner malt,a bit soft and doughy, grainy, some oak on the back end, light herbal hop with a bit of bitterness, dry semi crisp finish med spicy hop bitterness

Mouth is med bod, soft lager, med frothy carb

Overall another great lager
