Brewed in collaboration with our friends from Oxbow Brewing Co. and named after the whimsical riverside park in Littleton, this majestic Bockbier features beechwood smoked malt and mesquite blossom honey. It pours a rich mahogany brown with an off- white head, boasting a balanced smoky aroma, rich malt character, toasted walnut notes, and hints of leather-bound books (of course). Burnt caramel, brown bread, and subtle dark fruit notes touch the palate, fading to a dry finish.

Spectacularly brewed beer served on tap. Deep amber//chestnut brown color and a dark cream head. Bubbles a’bound. Smells like a beechwood fire. Hops on the nose and some mild sweetness from the malt. Hi t of floral honey. Tastes extremely well balanced. Not as smokey as a schlenkerla by any means but still quite present. Just isnt killing the pallet. Smoke hits up front. Malts smoothen he middle with mild honey rounding it out and hops are bittering the end. I could probably drink this room temp its so good. Would love to try a still version.

Appearance: Arrives a medium brown with ruby edges; the head billows above the beer and leaves curtains of lacing

Smell: Smoked malt and caramel with hints of walnut and earthy tones

Taste: Dark bread and smoked malt forward with caramel and walnut tones emerging; some dark fruit aspects emerge in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Quite enjoyable with an interesting twist on the smoked beer concept

Lasting, light beige head with good blanketing lace. The beer is ruby brown with light able to pass easily.

Darker malt begins the aroma. Later, the smokiness is clearly present but it's subtle.

The initial flavor is similar to a Dunkel but the finish draws out the smoke. Again, it's subtle with just enough presence as to make beer interesting and complex. The body is richer than most with the carbonation being slightly muted. The aftertaste features the smoke increasing in intensity. Overall, I will rate this as one of the best Rauchbiers I've ever had.

Can. Dark brown mostly clear with small head and lace. Smoky woody earthy aroma with grass and maple sugar. Appropriately sweet grainy maple syrup brown sugar with spicy herbal smoky finish with lingering herbal. Full body slick appropriate to style. Subtle carb. Excellent and very smoky.
