Our winter seasonal bock, lagered in our American Oak Foeder. Orange marmalade and fresh baked bread meld with oak tannins and a mellow vanilla. The foeder lends a smooth finish.

A: The beer is clear orange amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high beige colored head that left a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose along with hints of oak.
T: The taste has flavors of toasted malts along with notes of oak from the foeder layering.
M: It feels medium-bodied and clean on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The finish has some dryness.
O: The oak foeder lends some interesting complexities to the smell and taste of this beer.

This one pours a golden orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like honey, citrus, bread, marmalade, and grassy hop character.
This is a pretty solid bock, but maybe just a little bit too sweet overall. It's still quite tasty, and the foeder seems to give it this nice clean softness that I really like.
This is light bodied, a little bit creamy, and very drinkable.
This is really tasty stuff, even with the perhaps slightly elevated sweetness.

Pours a frothy thick 2 finger head with great retention, fair spotty lacing, very clear amber to tan orange color
Nose brings surprising sweetness, honey, toffee, caramelized sugars, honey Graham cracker, mild toasted sweet bread crust, little vanilla icing and fruity esters
Taste rich toasted malt and sweet bread crust, rich toffee and vanilla icing again, toasted reddish malt and sweet caramel, honey cake, honey candy, med to lighter bitterness herbal hop, fair fruity notes, touch of alcohol perfume, mild sweet fair dry finish med spicy briny bitter hops
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med frothy carb
Overall meh, similar to the regular version I wasn't a big fan of this one, just didn't mesh well
