Pours very close to clear gold with a finger of airy white head that leaves light, spotty lacing.
Honey grahams and distant stinkweed in the nose.
There’s a weedy herbal quality to the hop flavoring that combines with some earthiness and, to my opinion, an overly strong nuttiness. There’s also some (American) biscuit element and some nice firm bitterness.
Very tight, zippy over carbonation. Thicker bodied than expected for a pilsner.
Sort of a let down. Too much fizz and the nutty taste wasn’t doing it for me either.
