A special release, Drexel, is a co-fermented Munich-Style Helles lager. This German-style pale lager is malt-forward with light biscuit, grain, and a hint of noble hops. Built for sustained drinkability, with just a touch of sweetness followed by a crisp finish.

Picked up a 16 oz can from the Appalachian Vintner 6-20-25 for $4.67. Canned 02-10-25; consumed for review 8-22-25. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured gold with a beautiful white head that is sustaining very well.
Nose is biscuits and white bread, herbal black pepper hops.
Taste follows the nose as the pale malt base reveals a clean biscuity flavor. Hopping is herbal leaving a trace of black pepper spiciness that is not bitter but balancing.
Mouthfeel is light bodied, refreshing, and very smooth.
Overall, this is another fine lager from the Schilling brewing team. Despite its age is drinking very well!

Great beer. One of my favs from the brewery. When I shop at the beer store, I always buy a number of Schilling beers. Bready, malty, lighty astringent, and clean. Very enjoyable. The beer store owner recommended this beer.

This is a really well made Helles! I loved everything about it, its gorgeous rich golden color, grain and grass aroma, and a fantastic flavor profile.
Worthy.
