Carefully selected crystal malts layered over a base of heirloom German Pilsner malt. Tettnanger and Spalter select hops lend Fritzy a balanced pleasant bitterness.

This one pours a dark amber-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells wonderfully biscuity, with caramel, some light smoke, and toffee.

This is wonderful, as expected from Schilling. It’s delightfully toasty, with some roast and just a hint of smoke. There’s just the smallest bit of caramelly sweetness here to give some dimension.

This is snappy and crisp, with a great drinkability, and just the slightest bit of creaminess.

This is par for the course for Schilling – outstanding.

It's a pleasant see through amber. Not too dark or light, a beautiful medium shade.

Smells tootsie pop-ish and carmely. In some ways the smell reminds me of a red ale. An aroma of biscuit and cereal like grain also hits the nose. I have allergies so this part is the hardest when reviewing a beer lol.

The flavor is amazing it's about medium thickness for a lager but filled with toffee and light caramel flavor. A huge note of tootsie pop dominates the after taste. It's super good. The perfect mix of simple and complex.

It feels a bit more surpy and heavy than a normal lager but it goes with the other flavors you get and adds to the experience.

Overall this is super well done and a candidate for my favorite Schilling beer.
