Canned 2025/10/29
Pours a light fizzy head with fair retention, a bit of lacing, clear light pale straw color

Nose plenty of west coast hops, citrus, tangerine, a touch tropical, mild pine and earthy spicy hop, very little malt

Taste brings light cereal malt, gristy grainy, fair hops, a bit of bitterness, fruity hops, some tropical fruit, citrus, herbal grassy piney resin, more resin and a little oniony note as it warms, drier finish, med spicy hop bitterness

Mouth is med bod, med carb

Overall meh, not much for pilsner left in there, not sure why they would make a pilsner and then just demolish it with west coast hops

Advent day 9
Pours a touch hazy pale straw colour, not much head. Tiny bubbles do rise from the bottom.

Smell is mostly just floral lager. Far from a west coast pilsner imo

Taste is the same, touch of resin bitterness.

Feel is light and thirst quenching

Can into Nucleated Pilsner

Look: Poured a slightly cloudy, golden yellow, with a 1 fluffy 1 finger head which slowly dissipated into a thin cap
Smell: Crackery malt, herbal hops, pine, touch of yeast, some lemon and orange zest too. Weakish nose
Taste: Strong crackery malt. some yeast mixed in there. Lemony with a touch of orange zest. Lightly bitter herbal hops here, and some of that pine from the nose. Finish brings back out the cracker malt, with some pine and a hint of white pepper. Lingers for a short while
Feel: Medium-light body, with moderate carbonation. semi crisp drinker with a dryer finish
Overall: A great pilsner. The hops adds a extra bit of complexity that makes this a interesting pour. Pretty crushable

16 oz can.

Pours a lightly hazy pale gold color with a large soapy, sudsy white head. Minimal retention. Leaves a few cobwebs as the head dissipates.

Aroma has notes of crackery malt, sweet citrus, lemongrass, and pine.

The flavor is full of cracker and doughy malt with a nice balanced bitterness: Grapefruit, melon, pine, cracked pepper, and grass. Very floral.

Medium bodied with prickly carbonation. Dry with a soft, lingering bitterness.

Overall this is a great "West coast Pils". The PNW hops add a nice bittering hop character as well as a bit of citrus without overpowering the malt. It's definitely a hoppier pilsner, almost like a session IPL. Or "Cold IPA", whatever you call it.
