Hazy straw yellow color with a thin white head. Sharp carbonation. A bit acidic. Brett yeast and lemon zest flavors. Not sure why the status is listed as retired, I had it just yesterday on tap at the brewery.

Pours a slightly hazed orange golden color with minimal off-white head. Funk, hops, some grass and floral notes, and citrus on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with the hoppy notes and some funk. Weird combination.

rapidly becoming one of my favorite styles of beer, the hoppy session saison really has evolved a lot lately, and this is a great example of it. pale and light looking, explosive carbonation, good head retention and a wonderful aroma. the combination of the belma hops (which dont get used enough i dont think), and the mosaic is awesome. its fruity and tropical, really the leader in terms of flavoring this beer. the yeast is nice too though, funky, maybe not brett spiked, but its definitely got that rustic farmhouse rawness to it, and it works amazingly well with the bright attractive hops. flavors of orange and pineapple come to mind, but this sure isnt sweet, in fact is quite the opposite. the malt is very light, almost too light, one of the issues common in these lighter table beers, but while the texture is light, the flavor is not. fresh wheat, still dry, but cerealy and a nice base for the fruity hops and farmy yeast. beautiful balance between the elements, not too bitter at all from the hops, more of a dry hop i would imagine, and ultimately a beer i could drink all day long. pretty and vibrant, if i was a bee, i would pollinate this for sure!
