Opened the bottle and slowly foam started to creep out. Poured into the glass presenting a hay color with a white 2 cm head. Very bubbly and over carbonated. Picked up a touch of lemon, cracker and barnyard funk in the aroma. Hops were barely notice able. Its very light, not so aggressive. The taste was pretty much the same, I tasted the base saison but with a light layer of barnyard funk that then ends with a citrus finish from the hops. Some notes of cracker. Very dry throughout. I found the mouth feel to be a bit over carbonated, felt like I was eating bubbles upon first sip. Overall, it's an okay saison. Would be better suited for the hotter months.

aggressively hoppy, funky fresh saison that is brett fermented. really lively and bright beer, clear for the style an glowing under the rising white head. it smells amazing, super hoppy, almost more ipa than saison if it werent for all the funk on it. super mature ad complex brett profile, notes of peach and white grape go so well with the aromatic hops, mosaic heavy but thats not all, tangerine and melon and kiwi and lemon are all here in the nose, and this all carries over wonderfully well to the flavor. the brett is awesome in this, not sure which strains are in the mix, but it has a lambic funkiness, insanely mature for how fresh the beer tastes with all the hops, thats the part that really blows my mind with this one. its so farmy and old school, but so alive and juicy with the hops. the best of both worlds really. the flavors are all very intense, and there are a ton of hops on this, vegetal, citrusy, and with pineapple and melon sweet juiciness and oils as well. clean and simple malt base stays out of the way but adds a little body, and while this is super dry in the end, i keep tasting it for awhile, both the unique and developed mix of bretts and the pungent hops. a really well made and delicious beer, and for all the ones that have come before it that sound similar on paper, this is how you do it! my love for green bench has gotten even deeper after this recent round of exceptional brett beers!
