July 28th, 2015 - Another winner here from Woodfour is the Gold Ridge Lager. Though our taster is diminutive in size, I get a broad and clean impression of this brew. Crisp and clean up front, it must have been kegged recently since it exudes freshness. And it is surprisingly, and compatible sweet, with a good body. Only in the aftertaste does the brew flatten out a bit, and even here it tastes smooth and slightly sweet.

Had on tap at the brewery. I decent lager, slightly sweet with a very slight bitter finish. Not overly knock-your-socks-off, but a decent session lager and something to enjoy on a hot day I wager.
