July 28th, 2015 - This is a thick looking saison, more of an orange and flan colored beer and with the opacity of that same pudding. But the aroma is light and airy, graced with a touch of saffron, and smelling just a little bit like IKEA on a good day. The palate offers a touch of tangerine and a dose of champagne, with a short aftertaste. Shirt, but good, though a little thin on the palate. The bitterness offers a clear counterpoint to the grains making this probably just a too much strength for what its trying to be, but still very drinkable.
