Had this at Sour Sunday 2018. Strawberry beers are still pretty rare to find, especially in any quantity, there just isn't a nationally (or even regionally) produced strawberry beer out there for the most part.
Pours a thicker brownish red color, I went in thinking I might see something blonde with red highlights, but this was substantially more viscous and dark than my expectations allowed. Produced a big off white head 1". Aroma played true to form, there was strawberry. Then oak.
Taste is strong in just about every way, the fruit, the sourness, the maltiness, the acidity. I'll say it was good at avoiding the plastic aspect that lesser strawberry beers don't seem able to shake. Carbonation on it was just fine, might have been on the strong side, but patience is a virtue. They took a notoriously difficult fruit to brew with and managed to put out a beer that was mildly enjoyable. Would like to see less malt next time though.

Aroma has fermented strawberry and it's specific chemical note it gives off when used in beer. Taste follows with the same type of flavor, sour with chemical fruit weirdness. I am definitely not a fan of strawberry beers.

Had on tap. Big oak and strawberry sourness and acidity define this beer. Smell is super potent, with oak, strawberry, kiwi, lemon and flowers. Taste brings in more of the acidic funk. Nice texture to feel, but the lingering acidity begins to accumulate quickly. Strawberry is hard to work with, but this got the job done for me

This beer is a foggy golden honey that ranges to a peach sunset. The huge three-inch white foam quickly settles and stabilizes at one-half inch, crackling loudly along the way. The head leaves a sticky film, but no lace on a PBGC tulip glass.
Unsurprisingly, oak dominates the aroma immediately upon opening the bottle. Fresh strawberries are a strong contender for one's attention, outshining the sour funk. Also noted were kiwis and over-ripe cantaloupe.
The tartness is overwhelming along with the oak, bringing to mind Starburst strawberry candies. Acidity is also high, as this beer is an all-out assault on the mouth. A long, tart and fruity finish never lets go. This is very sweet. Warmth reveals over-ripe peaches, apricots and limes.
The silky texture and medium to light body contrasts fine explosive carbonation. Alcohol is surprisingly above expectations, though it is far from strong.
This is a difficult beer to drink due to its intensity of aroma, sweetness and tartness. It demands small sips if one is to appreciate its character. This beer was quite possibly the most extremely tart beer I have ever consumed.
