July 28th, 2015 - I love the name on this beer, but not the flavor. At least, at the start. It is a nicely colored brew with a decent gold color, and the aroma offers some light citrus and kumquat. But the beer strikes me as incredibly bland right at the beginning of the sip. But just as I'm ready to write it off, the flavor sweets with notes of cold marble, soap, pineapple and white button mushrooms, and then finishes in the aftertaste with fresh sage. It's a surprising conclusion to an unassuming beer.
