Pours a copper color with an off white head. Smell is citrus and and garden with spices and malt. Taste is malts first caramel and sweet followed by some dank hops a sweeter finish. M/T very malty and sweet this overpowered the hops it was way to malty and reminded me of a fresh hop amber? i can enough for me

2017 Fresh Hop using Minnesota grown hops. Clear amber color with a large dense head. Fairly dark compared to the light pale ale hop water that most breweries put out. Aroma of hops. Strong herbal, earthy, peppery, and resiny aromas. Malt adds some caramel and bread. You can certainly taste the fresh hops in this beer as waves of flavors cover the palate. Not everyone will enjoy the flavor as this is not fruity, citrus, and tropical but it is herbal, earthy, and spicy. This IPA has some resemblance of balance with the sweet caramel malt. Not a typical wet hop pale ale but I find this one a refreshing change.

At the brewery, into a willibecher. Fresh hop with cascade, centennial, (and maybe warrior?). Pours an attractive copper with an eggshell 1 finger head, decent lacing. Nose that is almost mosaic-like berry bramble, earthy/dirty/dark citrus. Taste stays pretty earthy. Nothing bright or sweet here...pretty thorough-goingly bitter in a green way...not exactly biting. Malta are non-descript. I'm looking for a little extra something that it doesn't quite deliver. Lively and snappy mouthful, carbonation is a little high.
