Our Dog Years IPA is a Frankenstein’s monster of hoppy beers, combining nearly every possible IPA flavor profile into one seemingly fearsome beast. Fortunately, this Dog is less concerned with trashing your palette than with delivering that sweet, sweet hop nectar. Outrageously flavorful and dynamic and yet immaculately clean and balanced, Dog Years smells like pine, cracked pepper and lemon zest, and tastes like citrus, crackers, grass, honey, resin and melon. There are no bad dogs, only bad beers, which is why we brewed this ridiculously good one.

Can pour - clear golden straw color, short white head, scattered lacing. Nose is mildly citrusy and piney. Taste follows more or less. Mild melon lingers on the finish.

I like this one. Its more a mix of WC & EC IPA. Its got that pine flavor that I love. Its nothing special but it's still really good. I'll def be buying it again.

Clear yellow brew with plenty of white foam in the snifter. Aroma of fermenting pineapple. Rather sweet and malty but there is a sourish edge. Citrus taste and something like honey.
Bitterness is quite modest. This is a melange of interesting flavors, but marred by the lingering nose of the melon you tossed in the garbage yesterday. From the 16 oz can purchased at Whole Foods in Oakland.

A: Citrusy with light pine and faint spice with moderately light malt sweetness.
A: Gold color, clear, with a frothy, white uniform head that has decent retention and light lacing in the glass.
T: Crisp, with hoppy flavors of citrus, pine, resin, light melon, coupled with moderately light malt sweetness and moderate hop bitterness and dry finish.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Alright; the beer has an interesting hop character, but the pine and resin notes, dont work perfectly with the light melon qualities.

The look of this beer is very interesting.. like cloudy apple juice, but tastes like a pretty solid ipa.

Only my third beer from these guys but they've all been solid. Nice cloud orange color. Thick head that stayed with the whole beer. Nice subtle aroma will revisit

Canned date of 05/31/17
Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and golden orange in color with a white, half finger width head that doesn't hold out long, revealing a mostly barren surface with a ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A small handful of tiny spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Orange with lesser pine and spice and a hint of mango and melon.
Taste - Follows the nose. Orange with lesser grapefruit that's quickly met by notes of spice and a mild but definite cantaloupe/melon character. Fair, bready malt undertone. The finish turns slightly bitter with citrus pith while adding a sharp, pineapple zing that lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with slightly bitey carbonation. Slick texture before a crisp, mostly dry finish.
Overall - The can says it's a West Coast style IPA, but it's much more fruity than your classic WC IPA, though the mouthfeel fits the style. That said, this is a tasty little brew regardless and one that may tempt me to buy a 4-pack or two.

Can dated 05/31/17 into a nonic pint.
L: Pours slightly hazy golden with a finger of white variable density head that quickly dissipated and left minimal lacing.
S: Nice competing citrus and tropical, tangerine, cantaulope and melon.
T: Follows the nose well but less dynamic. Finishes with moderate bitterness and a little astringency, both clear the palate fairly quickly.
F: Lighter bodied and moderate carbonation, felt silky on the tongue.
O: Nice beer, I'd put it more as an East-West hybrid for my palate.
