Four more years! Four more years! Bike Dog turns four years old this year. To celebrate the occasion, we brewed this N.E. Style Anniversary IPA, a cloudy gold haze bomb that smells like grapefruit and pine and tastes like the ambrosia of Greek mythology (more specifically, it tastes like orange peel and fresh berries with lingering pine resin bitterness, but six of one).

Haze craze continues. This looks like juice with cool whip on top. I get a lot of citrus punctuated with a white wine grape note. Some pineapple and guava linger in the back. Hits the spot but don’t expect it to punch above its weight.

Can dated 11/10/17 into a tulip glass.

L: Pours hazy dirty bronze with 2 fingers of variable density khaki head with limited retention and left mixed lacing.

S: Nose is mostly pine, perhaps some subtle citrus. Smells like a West Coast IPA, not NE style, when cold. Subtle berries participate once warmed.

T: Tracks the nose well. More berry aspect than noticed on the nose. Finishes with some bitterness, limited astringency, clears palate quickly.

F: Medium bodied, lower carbonation, a bit sticky on the tongue.

O: One and done on this beer for me. For my palate and preferences, it's trying to be a West-East hybrid, and not doing either style notably well.
