We brewed this boisterous IPA to capture the essence of our great friend and long-time beertender Scott Overton, who is stepping out from behind the bar in West Sacramento. His namesake beer races back and forth between flavors of citrus, berry and masculine pine. The beer boasts flavors of energetic palate-punching grapefruit, and passionate passionfruit in the profile. Pour yourself a tall glass of Scott, but be sure to raise it to him as well.

Decent west coast style IPA...This has a faint nose with nothing following much in the taste and swallow. It is very smooth and drinkable for a 7.6% ABV though! Very crushable even though nothing really stands out.

Can
A: Moderately hoppy with notes of citrus and pine.
A: Gold color, clear, with a frothy, thick white head that has great retention, lots of lacing in the glass.
T: Hoppy with notes of citrus and pine, faint tropical fruit, coupled with moderately light malt sweetness, moderate hop bitterness and dry finish.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Alright; the beer is solid and refreshing, but a bit heavy on the pine character.
