Canned 0531/18
Appearance - Pours clear and golden yellow in color with a white, finger width head. Sub-par retention results in a mostly barren surface with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. A few small spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Fruity aroma. Subtle pear, golden apple, bright citrus and a hint of apricot.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fruity with a bit of citrus zing. Pear and apple-ish sweetness with some light lime zest. Faint apricot comes through mid-taste. Finish is much the same, but adds a touch of pithy bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Light in bosy with tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a crisp, refreshing and dry finish.
Overall - I'm still cutting my teeth on this newly developing style, and I have to say this is the best one I've had by far. I'm not sold on the sryle just yet, but this one gives me hope.
