Appearance - Pours hazy and bright, slightly burnt orange with a rocky, off-white, finger width head. No lacing.
Smell - Strong aroma of orange and pineapple, with a hint of guava.
Taste - More multi-layered than the nose leads on with an array of tropical goodness. Orange, tangerine, peach, pineapple, guava/mango upfront, then a hint of coconut creeps in by mid-taste and becomes a mellowing factor in the finish. Aftertaste rings with distant citrus and pineapple acidity.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Drinks smooth before a dry, slightly chalky finish.
Overall - Really good brew, but the finish doesn't quite deliver, as the flavor flattens out and tends to get a bit harsh on the swallow. It's better than a fair number of it's ilk, but it's nowhere near the elite.
