The beer is a pale yellow gold. The liquid looks quite clear. Medium-sized white head. A bit fizzy with a little lacing. The aroma is a mix of tangerine, grapefruit and pineapple hoppiness. It’s got a little spicy zing to it. Some raspberry, mild lime rind, honeysuckle. Light pale malt sweetness well in the background. More grapefruity than normal for Cellarmaker’s hoppy beers. Taste is nice enough with good hop flavor. Moderately dry. Classic West Coast IPA territory. Mild to moderate bitterness; picks up a touch in the finish. More of a grapefruit pith ending. Light to medium feel with some hop oiliness. Fairly refreshing and easy to drink. Solid beer but not up to some from the brewery.
