Assertive American Simcoe and Centennial hops balance out the tropical fruit flavors of two New Zealand grown hops (Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka) with melon, citrus and earthy pine sap aromas and flavors. This high intensity international IPA is designed to electrify the pleasure center of your dome, like a smooth operator, for maximum joy.

Pours a semi clar dark yellow with soft, soapy head.
Smell is fruity, crisp and a bit peppery. Notes of pineapple, gooseberries, passionfrui and grapefruit.
Taste is fruity and crisp with a solid bitterness. Notes of passionfruit, grapefruit, peach and green tea with some hints of piney resin.
Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice modern WC IPA, maybe lacking a little bit of NZ kick.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Citrus, grassy slightly dank notes, pine, subtle tropical and stone fruit, and biscuity bready malt.
T: Citrus, big grapefruit, plus a touch of lemon, resinous pine, slightly dank grassy herbal notes, a little exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, white grape, melon, papaya, apricot, gooseberry, and pineapple, biscuity slightly bready malt, and maybe a hint of sweetness on a moderately dry finish.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly slick with hop oils.
O: Solid Westy, but I wish some of the fruity flavors from the NZ hops popped a little more. A little more Nelson and maybe a touch of sweetness would bump this up a level for me.
