This is a barrel aged mixed culture saison that was sitting in oak for 8 months before being keg conditioned for three months. This ale has a bright pineapple fruit character, a light acidity and some nice aged vinous qualities from 8 months in neutral oak. If you're wondering, we are currently on batch 408!

Super interesting saison. You have the tartness of the oak coming through, plus the brett/lacto, but also you have some fruity flavors going on. Hmm. Interesting. I did like this one. My fav saison from them is Island Culture though.
