Hip Hip Beret has a distinct resemblance to a beer from the north of France which we enjoy very much. Brewed with wheat, oats, Munich and pilsner malts, hopped singularly with pithy English Bramling Cross and fermented with a unique strain of yeast that gives off hints of enticing spice. A complex yet easy drinker with a hoppy bite.

On tap at the brewery.
Clear light yellow with a thin white head with good retention and lacing. Nose is grainy and yeasty, not quite Thiriez like but with a really grainy depth. Pilsner and Munich malts add a real depth, and what seems to be a Biere de Garde yeast adds nutty notes without a lot of spice. Mint and herb are present. Drying, mild parsley like notes are present.
