Marking 12 years of doing business! Triple Dobis brings an amplified hop experience to the Dobis line. This hazy triple IPA bursts with tropical fruit, citrus, and resinous notes, balanced by a smooth, full-bodied malt backbone. Juicy, vibrant, and layered, it’s a celebration of flavor and craftsmanship. Raise a glass to a dozen years of hustle, hops, and doing business the Dobis way.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy peachy golden orange amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little light kinda spotty lacing.

S: Massive juicy tropical and stone fruit, ripe citrus, a touch resinous, grassy and floral notes, biscuity bready malt, and plenty of caramel honey sweetness.

T: Big time juicy tropical and stone fruit, mango nectar, overripe pineapple, peach/nectarine, guava, passion fruit, and just a hint of lychee and melon, ripe citrus, orange/tangerine, lime, lemon, and grapefruit, resinous, grassy, a faintly herbal, biscuity bready malt, and plenty of caramel honey sweetness, with just a touch of alcohol poking through at times.

M: Full body, mild to moderate carbonation, super smooth bordering on creamy. % is nearly completely hidden.

O: Dobis finally gets the 3x treatment, and they did it up right. All that Citra goodness wrapped up in a smooth but substantial package. It's a worthy biggest brother to cap off a fantastic series. Unless they dare to go even bigger... 12%+ 4x Dobis?
(The final score makes me wonder if I have this scored a half notch high, but at the same time, I don't think there's any category I'd lower, so that's where it sits.)

On tap at Jaxon's/ Barrel & Stave in Fullerton, CA.
Fluffy white cap is almost creamy in appearance and mouthfeel sitting on top of a hazy muted yellow elixir. Good retention, layers of lacing.
Nose and flavor are generous in creamy citrus, crackery grain, and hints of tropical notes.
Mouthfeel is pillowy.
