L: Pours dark mango color. Hazy and foamy. Chill all Millersburg for 24 hours and no less, simply as a matter of foam control. They use lots of malts (and balance it with lots of hops)
S: Mellow and hoppy. Major Holmes uses a proprietary 5 hop blend. It's a wonderful rich aroma. All that CO2 bubbling up brings out the bouquet. There are many particular notes, but mango and grapefruit are what I picked up on the most.
T: Mellow for what it is, thanks to the huge amount of malts. There are 5 hop varieties as well, all with different roles. Balanced and well-executed.
F: Lots of hop action, bitter, but not oily. It's in a niche, I'm sure someone will appreciate a less resiny mouthfeel.
O: These guys are so good at what they do. I recommend you try and experience for yourself. You'll get lots of quality inexpensively versus comparable brews.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours fairly hazy medium orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, caramel, lightly toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Touch of booze in aromas as it warmed, a bit too malty/muddy. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, caramel, lightly toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/zest, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, caramel, lightly toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 10.7%. Overall this is a very nice DIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Aromas had me thinking this was going to be really sweet, but it wasn't. Lighter bodied than I expected for the ABV. Balanced juicy hops and dark/bready malts, with mild lingering sweetness. Definitely classic C's + Amarillo hops. A very enjoyable offering.

Nice caramel aroma & Amber color w/ thin cream colored head that laces nicely.
I get a lot of caramel malts in the taste balanced nicely by resinous hops. A well balanced brew that hides its 9.1% ABV very well. Could have a few of these if I was at home. Worth seeking out in my opinion.
