Pretty good beer from a local brewer. Pours a translucent golden brown color with a huge, frothy khaki head. Head retention is excellent, sits there like a beer commercial. There are thick frothy bands of lacing. Aroma is not as dramatic. Some caramel malt and some rye.
Taste is pretty good, caramel malt, rye sourness, finishing bitterness and a tobacco-like aftertaste. Mouthfeel is crisp, slightly sweet and bitter at the end. I have had rye beers that feature the rye more, but this is a fairly decent drink.

12 oz can poured into a stemmed glass. A bit malty up front but nice spicy rye finish. Support your local craft beer!
