I don't see a bottle date or "best before" date listed. I'm not sure why the original submitter of this beer listed it as an "Imperial White IPL" because the label on the bottle clearly states "Imperial White India Pale Ale."
Appearance: The body of the beer is a light milky golden yellow that is very hazy with a lot of carbonation bubbles visible. The white head is thick, large, and fluffy. It is just what you would expect. Perfect lines of lacing left on the glass.
Aroma: There is a very light tangerine aroma and just a touch of a tangy scent that usually comes from wheat. Light spicy character. Not much of an aroma on this beer.
Taste: There is a lot of bitter flavor to the beer but no real hop flavor. It sort-of has a cedar ball taste to it which is very off-putting.
Mouthfeel: It has a lot of bitterness but not a lot of character; it's like chewing on a pencil. It is well carbonated but that is about the only strong suit. It is heavily abrasive and unbalanced.
Overall: It wasn't a very enjoyable beer. It was more or less a headache to drink the beer given the overwhelming bitterness and complete lack of flavor. I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't drink it again.

An interesting brew as the brewers call it in an Imperial Pale Lager and I was told they were going for a mix of an imperial wit mixed with pale ale (or IPA, possibly) characteristics brewed as a lager. Poured a cloudy white body with minimal fizzy head and no lace and has a sharp, spicy aroma that is like a witbier (coriander, pepper, some possible clove, a little bit of sharp citric hops). The beer is light bodied, a little bit smooth so there might be a little yeast in there but mostly it's sharp citric notes and touches of spice. Balance is there and there is a little bit of sweetness. Nothing exceptional about beer but I must say I enjoyed it and would recommend any beer fan to try it (personally, I would just bastardize the description as a hoppier than usual wit style).
*This beer is a lager, not a pale wheat ale. When adding beer on 1/26/14 I entered wrong style and have submitted a request to change style. If you're reading this and you see the style as pale wheat ale then change has not been made.
