Our German Chocolate Wheat Beer brewed to almost twice the classically accepted ABV. Brewed using a pinch of Applewood Smoked Malt from Copper Fox Farms, grown locally in VA.

Pours a brown body with decent foamy head on top of an aroma that has some bready, roasted malts but is mostly citric hops.
Smooth beer, minor sweetness and a little chewey.
Mostly a hoppy body that gives off a citric vibe and finishes real crisp.
Basically, not a bad beer or bad dunkleweizen, but the hops in this beer overpower everything else so there aren't any of the nuances that one can get from a dunkleweizen (sweet malts, some hefe charateristics like yeast twang and spice).
