I don't see a bottle date. This is in a hock-style bottle and the label does claim this as a "NEW ENGLAND STYLE IPA."
Appearance: It is a medium shade of beige with light shining though its slightly cloudy body. Gold shines through with the light. It has a short white head with average retention and lacing. It is a bit darker and less opaque than your standard New England IPA.
Aroma: It smells very strongly of alcohol and acetone.
Taste: There is a strange mix of flavors here. It tastes a bit like rubber and peaches. It isn't very pleasant to drink. At times there is a strong tangy yeast flavor.
Mouthfeel: It is a very difficult beer to drink. It's not a pleasant beer.
Overall: I don't recommend this beer. It not only tastes, smells, feels, and looks nothing like a New England IPA but it just assaults the senses in a negative way. I wouldn't drink it again.

Poured a clear, golden orange body with minimal head and no lace. The aroma has some citric and dirt to it and not much else. Citric, hoppy, a little bit malt heavy with a thicker body that gives off some sweetness and adds balance to crisp, acidic, dirty hops; beer is enjoyable to drink and finishes clean although the bitterness can be cutting at times.
