Taste: Deep roasted, semi sweet malts, smokey, maybe a hint of vanilla bean cocoa and molasses. Nose is chocolate malt.
Brown black in color, mostly opaque, with a tan head of broken lattice on the lace. Medium/full body.

Came as part of a flight. Black and opaque, with some creamy bubbles floating on top and a thin ring of tan foam along the rim. Aroma is roasted coffee and hazelnuts, taste is roasted (but not burnt) coffee, some chocolate notes, some nut. Medium thin mouth feel. Delicious. Stormcloud likes to advertise their Belgian style ales, but the porter is a standout, too.
