On draft at the brewery's gastropub on Mainstreet.
Excellent appearance: sparkling clear dark amber colored body with a fairly dense beige head that leaves plenty of lacing. It has a surprisingly hoppy aroma bit a more traditional and malty flavor.

Part of a flight at the pub. Garnet with a tinge of brown in color, lots of active carbonation. Thick head with large bubbles, good retention. Aroma is malty and dark fruit; plum, raisin. Taste follows, mouthfeel is medium. Quite excellent.
