Short Review. This was the empire hop version of this beer. It's not bad, it's pretty solid for the style, but it's pretty standard too with a little more earthy and grassy hops than I would like and they seem to clash a little with the english ale yeast like flavors. I don't think I would get this beer again, but I would be interested in trying the other different single hop versions.

Taste: malty with some banana/clove esters
Good mouthfeel, thin white persistent foam
Color: Amber/red
