A big, but smooth traditional Belgian Dark Strong. Watch this one - packs a smart wallop.

Nov 2020 Review
32oz crowler purchased by Dottie at Stormcloud.
Pour: deep amber color. 2 finger white-ish foam head. Some bubble lacing and thick ring. 3.75
Nose: dark stone fruits, caramel. Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg. 3.75
Taste: follows the nose pretty much with some turbinado sugar/bubble gum (as someone else said). Well balanced. 4.0
Feel: moderate carbonation but very smooth. A bit watery feeling but super easy drinking. 3.25
Overall: enjoyable and would definitely drink again but might not seek it out. Feel is probably biggest weakness for me. More carbonation or bite or a thicker feel would help. But enjoyable taste and very easy drinking. 3.75

Clear, deep amber color with frothy head. Rich, toasted flavor with hints of fruit. Tasted fresh from tap at Stormcloud in Frankfort. 11.5% ABV, 27 IBU

Superb. Almost opaque brown body, tan head, copious lacing. Nose full of bubble gum, plum and alcohol warmth. Rich sugar notes, hints of bubble gum and raisins, brisk close. A surprisingly rewarding dark, both rich and tasty with no hint of weight or cloying sweetness common in other version I've had.
