Keg half pint at The Grill, Aberdeen. 4.6% ABV. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of Belgian ale yeast, hints of fruit and white wine vinegar. Flavour mid between dry and sweet, notes of Belgian ale yeast, some fruit and mild spices, noticeable hops in the finish.

330ml bottle from Aldi (£1.69):
Clear golden to straw with plenty bubbles rising to the surface & quite a large head that settles about a centimetre tall. The nose is clean & floral with some citrus & fresh hops that hint at the saison style; there's some lemon & tart with a dry bitterness & herbal notes further on. The taste is slightly more subdued but similar with the lemon, citrus & floral flavours all present with a light-medium body that has crisp carbonation too.

Bottle. Pale straw. Slight haze. Extra thick frothy head.
A mix of floral and fruity hops.
Tastes of melon with meadow grass with a light sharpness.
Low to mid body. Lively carbonation.
Pleasant.

Pretty mediocre stuff. Didn't buy it from Lidl but immediately thought it tasted like a cheap, poorly put together Belgian beer that you would find in Lidl. Didn't even finish it. Feel somewhat annoyed that the label didn't describe it as a Belgian style beer as I would probably have avoided it. If you like 4% Belgian beer, you might enjoy it.

Bottle, Lidl. BBE in one year.
Pours cloudy gold, decent fluffy head.
Light aroma of apple and apricot. Pleasant if low
More going on taste as a pithy grapefruity bitterness takes part. Dry finish. Light medium body, decent carb.
It's ok but I never tend to get wowed by Belgian style ales with more modern hopping.
Good beer for Lidl though

Pours pale straw coloured into a tulip, fluffy lingering head of two-three fingers, well carbonated liquid. Aroma is mild orange peel, some honey and a slight hop presence. The flavour is very similar with more of that upfront clementine, orange zest - without the tang - coriander, lemon juice, earthy light biscuit and fragrant hops on the back end with a nice balanced bitterness. Beer is light, crisp, carbonated and thirst quenching. Overall I thought this was alright.
