330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Don't know if this is vintage 2019 or 2020 (no vintage on the label), but the ABV is 6.0%, and the BB date is Sept. 2021. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge beige head. Malty aroma, hints of caramel, brittle and slightly burnt breadcrumbs. Malty flavour too, but not very sweet. Dry and dusty finish. Half decent, but not a favourite of mine.

Made especially for the Independent Salford Beer Festival: Revenge of the Fifth Brewed on keg and served via key keg that retains the real ale marker at Helmsworth House

Bottle pour into tulip.
Pours a murky brown with some orange highlights. Very Belgian nose with some cinnamon and faint clove. Tastes like spiced marmalade with a long semi-dry finish. Good carbonation. Not something I'd buy frequently but a very decent take on a Belgian Xmas ale.
