One of the first beers I ever had at Rare Barrel in the summer of 2014. Its basically their golden sour base, a wild ale that has a saison yeast with a bunch of blood, bath and beyond potpourri type of shit dumped into it. So they call it a saison (shoulder shrug emoji).
Pours a light amber color 1/5" white head. The aroma is spice rack and bed/bath/beyond smells. Coriander and chamomile. Are grains of paradise a flower or a grain?
Taste is nice, definitely a strong sour and acidity profile, matched with more of those potpourri notes. Plenty of lemon and a little bit of stone fruit in the mouth feel and taste department. Easy to drink. Definitely keeps the floral aspect going throughout even though there are plenty of other aspects it has to compete with. Its yet another beer that is good and enjoyable on tap, but probably will never result in me buying a bottle of it for $20-25 or more.
