10oz pour at the brewery.
A: Pours a deep iced tea amber with a thin off-white head that faded into nothing.
S: Dry and oaky. Not getting any cherry on the nose, but what scents are there smell good.
T: A very mellow and oak-dominate beer. Very buttery with some light caramel. Doesn’t scream cherry, but they are indeed sweet and show up in the finish. Subtle cherry juice, very mild leather. Light and easy lactic bite in the finish, buttery and dry oak, touch of golden fruit, wheat, and tannic cherry skin.
M: Medium body, smooth and lightly greasy oak mouthfeel. Light tannins dry out the finish. Greasy and slick carbonation.
O: A simple and easy sour. Do not expect a ton a fruit. Very clean and quaffable.
