Dubious Proposal is a red sour beer aged in oak barrels with strawberries, blackberries, and traces of raspberries. With notes of berries and berries, undertones of berries really enhance the berry aroma.

Smelled dark fruits, blackberries, oaky malts, cinnamon, strawberry, black raspberries, sour raspberry and Sweet Tarts. (Smell - 4.50)

Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Astringent, fruity finish. (Feel - 4.25)

Awesome. (Overall - 4.50)

32oz growler split into Ambassadors stemware.

A: Pours a reddish dark iced tea color with a fuzzy finger of dark tan head that fizzed away into a faint collar.
S: The nose is full of musty oak and tart and slightly sweet berries, bright lacto, and a hint of earthy spice.
T: Juicy and jammy berries dominate as expected. All three berries are noticeable, but I get blackberry and then raspberry the most. Flavors remind me of a fruit roll-up. I get a hint of grape juice, fruit punch, and cranberry as well. The finished is sugary sweet, and the aftertaste has a lingering burst of sweet berries mixed with musty earth.
M: Medium body, fuzzy carbonation, drying yet sweet mouthfeel with a tart bite of acidity. Drinks well, albeit a bit sweet and sugary.
O: Tons of berries and fruit flavors. A bit too sugary for my personal taste, but very delicious.
