750ml 2018 bottle into tulip.
A: Pours a light straw yellow with a thick and fluffy bright white head that slowly faded into a thick collar and rocky film. Thick bubbly streaks of lace were left down the glass.
S: Bright, juicy nose with notes of lychee, citrus zest, and a touch of earthy berry. Herbal, slightly spicy yeast poke through along with perfumey stone fruit.
T: Follows the nose with fresh citrus zest, stone fruit, blueberry, earthy/leafy hops, and a kiss of tart acidity. Mild citrus pith bitterness in the finish along side dry grains and some lingering earthy spice.
M: Medium full body, smooth and soft mouthfeel, fluffy carb, mild acidity. Very clean with a good malt backbone that adds some body. Drying, lightly bitter finish.
O: Fantastic; reminds me of some hoppy Anchorage offerings. Really good balance of components and a very creamy easy to drink mouthfeel.
