A: Poured into a tulip to a bright and clear gold which is topped by a figner and a half of dense white head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of pleasant sourness, some oak, pears, and a hint of minerality
T: Taste is light sourness up front with some nice pear flavor, a hint of funk and some nice oak wtih some mineral notes coming through on the back end. On the finish there's more sourness, pears, minerality, and some lingering oak with a touch of funk.
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side of medium. Carbonation is lightly effervescent and adequate for the style while the beer has a slightly drying finish from the acidity.
O: Overall this is pretty nice. Really good flavors and some decent complexity. At times drinking more like a wine than it does a beer, but people do like to think of sour beer as beer for wine drinkers.
