A: Poured into a tulip to a golden orange beer which is topped by a dense and slightly rocky two fingers of white head which fade slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of pleasant white wine notes with some orchard fruits, tartness, minerals, and a little oak.
T: Taste is tart white wine notes up front with some orchard fruits and melon, a little mineralic kick, some oak, and a touch of pale malts. On the finish there's more tart white wine, orchard fruits, minerals, oak, and a hint of funk.
M: this beer has a body which is on the lighter side of things but it is not watery. Carbonation is adequate for the style and slightly prickly while the acidity gives this beer a drying finish.
O: Overall this is another really great wine/beer hybrid. Really nice flavors and complexity along with a nice amount of balance. Well executed.
