A: Poured into a tulip glass to a deep red which is almost brown at times. The beer is topped by a finger of light pink head which fades slowly to a collar around the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of light sourness, horseblankety funk, leather, and some red berries
T: Taste is slightly tart up front followed by horseblankety funk, some red berries, oak, and leather along with a hint of peppery spice. On the finish there's more tartness, some more red berries, funk, oak, and leather.
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side of medium. Carbonation is slightly prickly and adequate for the style while the beer has a slightly drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall I feel like this beer has a little more balance than Blurred Cs. It's a little more complex and a little more balanced. I probably held onto this one a little too long as well.

Blurred T is a tart saison aged with tons of crushed and de-stemmed Tempranillo grapes. The lingering body of the beer is complemented by the black cherry and dark jam qualities of the grapes. With a lightly acidic backbone, this wine-hybrid is an approachable take on a complex style. (Source: The Rare Barrel)
