375 mL bottle into a teku glass

This is a bittersweet session - the last batch as an AOS member (Ambassador of Sour). The way the market as evolved, not sure we’ll ever see a brewery quite like Rare Barrel again.

This was officially brewed as a Biere de Coupage, which is basically a mixed-fermentation brew. Closest style available is a Gueuze.

Densely cloudy, apricot-orange appearance. Nose is oaky and acidic, with lemon-orange essence lingering. Flavors are tart, lemony, with enough farmhouse funk to make it interesting. Suggestions of cherry-lemon candy throughout. Long, sour finish.
