Hazy light gold with a long-lasting head. Fruity Belgian yeast nose. Light malt body with a dry finish. Good crispness and spiciness.

I left this one in my fridge for a while, but finally got to it. Another CANBIF trade that is very nice. This beer hit the mark for me as far as saisons go. Lots of earthy, herbaceous notes along with a nice peppery spice. This was very satisfying after a long day at work!

On the bottle we can expect to have a belgian inspired beer. I'm a big fan of all the belgian moon beer. This one is close but not what I was expecting, when the liquor store clerk sold me this one. A real nice color, the taste remind the grass and balsam fir.

The bitterness is just enough.

Not what I was expecting but a good crafted beer.

Serving Type: 750 mL Growler

A- Pours a bright, hazy yellow with a healthy 1 finger head. Nice coating of lacing on the glass.

S-Grassy and resiny hops. Slight lemony scent.

T- Sharp bitterness followed by the resiny hops.

M- Light Body, light carbonation.

O- Excellent take on a saison by a local brewery that makes beautiful beer. Heres to hoping that they decide to bottle soon!

pours a golden straw, nice inch of head, good lace. nice carb. just slightly cloudy

smells of hops and strong grassy note, sharp almost piney tones, bright

immediate sharpness followed by a grassy bitter. nice dry after with a bit of the hops coming back in

sharp feel. has a bite but it isnt over done.

overall.
great new craft brewer. this beer fits a style unavailable in this format.
the concept of growler return for quality crafted ales is great.
if this brewer is successful as it's peers in the city (picaroons)
I will be very happy, because in alot of ways they fill a spot
which was lacking. and its allows for options. which is always nice.
anyways if you are local or happen to be coming thru fredericton.
swing by the brewery/taphouse and see them, tastings available,
awesome stuff.

From a 750 ml bottle to a pint glass.

A: pours a bright hay gold with a finger worth of head. Good carbonation can be seen.

S: cloves, pepper, grassiness and some mild fruits are present on the nose.

T: much of the nose carries over and there is a real rustic taste to the beer. The spices and peppery flavors persist from beginning to end.

M: good carbonation not too aggressive and a medium feel to this beer.

O: a nice take on a saison. I also like the story of this brewery... Small start up being helped along by a fellow craft brewer. Back to the beer... It just seems to be getting better as we drink it.
