Attractive pale amber with plenty of foam in the Brasserie DuPont chalice. Very pleasing sprightly mouthfeel, which nicely offsets the rather malty and somewhat sweet flavors. Aroma of lime peel and orange marmalade.
Quite flavored, mostly with a rather sweet orange. Just a touch of spice, which provides a bitter tang at the finish along with what the brewer says are Motueka hops. It's a tangy and intriguing concoction. I think this is a very drinkable variation on the Witbier theme, though maybe it's more of a Belgian IPA. From the 22 oz bottle purchased in Portland. I noticed this was also on tap at the brewery tasting room.
