Named after the Winged Horse constellation and brewed for the Horsebrass pubs anniversary this year. Creamy caramel malt flavors combine with slight toast for a medium malt body. Hopped with Nugget and Sterling hops for a herbal spiciness and smooth drinkability.

Everything was working fine until I tasted this beer. I love hops and the Pacific NW does as well, but I wasn't expecting flavoring hops in this beer style. I liked the beer, but it didn't fit the traditional style box.

The Pegasus ESB was brewed for Horsebrass English Pub here in Portland for their anniversary this year and is a perfect match for the type of fair that Horsebrass serves up. The perfect balance of hops and malts with just subtle notes of bitterness comes together for a fantastic mouthfeel. Get this beer while you can because it may not come back EVER!
