From a 22oz bottle: excellent deep gold/amber/orange color. Slightly hazy. Smell is dominated by strawberry. The strawberry gives an initial strong weird medicinal taste. There is a lingering, excellent slightly sour aftertaste that is perfect for a saison. Good amount of carbonation for the style. For me personally I don't like the strawberry and hibiscus adjuncts. I feel like this would be an otherwise wonderful saison.

22 oz bomber bought from Trader Joe in Salem OR $4.79 Pours and amber colour with reddish hints with a nice sized bubbly off white head. Aroma of strawberry, flowers, leaves, clove and slightly medicinal..pleasing. Taste is more saison like with the strawberry taking the back ground and tasting real and not artificial, a touch of fruit tea in the end. Nice. Nice mouth feel to this one its creamy at the start but dries near the end..so its not cloying. I really liked this approachable beer.

Poured from a 22oz bomber into a pint glass. Bottled on 10/7/15. One of the first off the line apparently.

Appearance: Rosy orange in colour, with a fine white frothy head that doesn't last long at all. Hazy with a lot of yeast and sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Shame about the head, but it could just be down to the glass.

Smell: Has a sweet maltiness, but the emphasis is on the Belgian yeast and the strawberries. Definitely smells like a saison, but with a twist. Sweet but not overly so, like a strawberry hard candy, and a bit sour and wild, with a hint of florals. Instead of the hibiscus, a carnation comes more to mind.

Taste: So yeasty and so flowery. It tastes like the beer equivalent of hibiscus tea. Strawberry is much more subdued than in the smell. Definitely sour, with almost a slight taste of apple cider vinegar.

Mouthfeel: Smooth and very crisp, but with a definite booziness to it. Stays on the palette for a while

Overall: Saison yeast + hibiscus. A funky, fruity, tasty Saison, and the strawberry and flowers blend well. Could be more complex, but is overall satisfying.
