Golden color ale. You can smell the tangerines right out of the bottle. Light feel with just the right amount of tangerine flavor. Really nice collaboration.

Yes, it does taste massively like tangerine. Also funk and sugar. It's hot and oily, seriously fruity. Lemony finish, but mostly it tastes like tangerine peel. Some tart yeasty taste and a surprisingly bitter aftertaste. It certainly has some astringency, but it seems like some strange chemistry is going on. Or off.

I don't know why I don't like it better, with tangerine my favorite citrus fruit. I don't think I would recognize it as any kind of Saison. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station up north. Slightly hazed yellow color with lots of white foam in the Belle-Vue Gueuze glass.

Welp, nailed the tangerine look. Orange color, unfiltered look with a foamy, but kind of snappy off white head that leaves a thin ring and even less lacing.

The pop of the cap reveals the tangerine instantly. Lots of Bazooka Joe bubblegum and a touch of sweaty funk underneath.

Very unique combination of flavors here. Tangerine and bubblegum still dominate, but banana, lemon, lime, and funk come through quite well. The real kicker is a dash of dill. Interesting.

Smooth, sweet, and slightly tart. Overall, the texture reminds me of a slightly flat citric forward soda. 8.0%!? No way... Can't even tell.

This definitely contends for most unique brews tried this year for me. Kind of Hefe meets Wit meets Saison. Whatever it is, it's enjoyable and easy to drink.

Cheers.
